"When it comes to treating low testosterone in younger guys, we usually reserve treatment for people who have symptoms, such as tiredness and reduced libido," Gilbert says.

One such choice is a class of drugs known as selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERMs).

Other treatments for low testosterone include weight loss and other lifestyle modifications, such as eating healthier and raising exercise.
